* "Family" rate means two or more related individuals living at the same address, ie a couple, or parents and child,
or multiple children, or any other combination
Membership Fee
There is an annual membership fee of £25 which also includes student-to-student insurance.
This is payable on joining the school and is renewable in January of each year.
Gradings
As you progress with your martial arts, other costs will entail Grading fees. There are quarterly Graduation Ceremonies where
friends and families are invited to watch you as you grade, but not everyone grades each time. At the time of press, Grading
Fees are £20 per student.
Equipment
Basic equipment required:
* Gi (karate suit) in black (£25.00)
* FREE Club badge to sew on Gi
* Mitts (approx £15.00)
* Feet protectors (approx £25)
* Gum shield (£4.00)
As you progress you will come to need a headguard (around £25) and groin guard (vital for men) at around £15.
