It is a sad fact of modern Britain that inactivity and obesity in children is on the increase, as such the government have set the goal of: “by 2020 to have reduced the level of childhood obesity to 2000 levels” (www.dcsf.gov.uk) as a result the government developed the every child matters program in a bid to get youngsters more active.

The Way of the Spiritual Warrior has always held the belief that kids need to be active and believe that right from a young age physical activity can have long lasting benefits; as a result we have developed our unique Kickboxing program.

The Kickboxing Program is based around the traditional martial arts principles of Respect, Courtesy and Discipline and presented in a fun, highly energetic and functional manner.

Some of the greatest fears for parents is that their young child will be a victim of bullying or assault in one way or another, the “no-one bullies me!” component to the Kids Kickboxing program looks to promote:

Our Kids Kickboxing classes teach safe non/light contact sparring, so you don't have to worry about your child getting hurt .  We even have a purpose built cage for the kids to practice in!
